Your address or location is checked against U.S. Census Bureau records to find your districts. This site doesn't store it.

Everyone elected on November 3 takes office on Monday, December 7, 2026, and I'll update this list then. Calls and emails to legislators' Capitol offices reach them during the session and most weeks outside it.

County boards, school boards and the Legislature meet in public, and most take public comment. Each meeting below says where it came from: the body's own calendar, its published dates, or its regular schedule, which can change. Confirm the time before you go.

Your county government and school boards

Each of California's 58 counties is run by an elected Board of Supervisors, which has five members everywhere except San Francisco, a combined city and county with an 11-member board. Cities, school districts and special districts have their own separately elected councils and boards.

The California State Legislature

The 2027 session runs from Monday, December 7, 2026 to Thursday, November 30, 2028.

Committee hearings are open to the public, and bills set for hearing are listed in each house's Daily File. You can testify in person at the hearing (state your name, where you live and your position, and keep it short) or contact the committee first. Written position letters on a bill go to the committee through the Legislature's Position Letter Portal.
